WHAT TO EXPECT

Off the plan

Buying off the plan means committing to a home before it is built. For many buyers, it is the best way to secure a new home at today's price.

1. Choose your home

What to expect when buying off the plan: Choice to choose a home already designed!
Select your preferred home design and lot from the available options. Check out the site plan and homes for sale here.

2. Get in touch

Contact us via our contact form, email or phone to discuss your chosen home and answer any questions you may have.

3. Secure your home

Sign a Sale and Purchase Agreement, which includes a due diligence clause to protect you as the purchaser. Once your solicitor has approved the agreement, simply pay the initial deposit to secure your home.

4. We build your home

Construction begins with each home typically completed within four months of the concrete slab being poured. You’re welcome to visit your home throughout construction - whether during the day, in the evening or on weekends - to see your new home come to life. Our team will guide you through expected timelines, key milestones and what happens at each stage.

5. Move in and make it yours

Settlement takes place once construction is complete and the Code Compliance Certificate has been issued. Your new home is then ready for you to move in and enjoy.

A few things worth knowing

We recommend working with a solicitor experienced in off-the-plan purchases. If you need a referral, we are happy to help.

If you are using KiwiSaver, speak with your bank or mortgage adviser about eligibility early in the process. Some lenders also offer preferential rates for homes built to higher performance standards - ask your adviser whether this applies to your situation.
